Our perfectionism is often effectively prevents us from being satisfied with ourselves. But we've learned to realize that we are capable of everything, just as good as it is needed at any particular time. The main thing is that we make an effort. The results are part of a larger, comprehensive plan with regard strangely more than just us. We experience joy when we can accept ourselves and our efforts, and when we realize that there is a purpose and meaning to our lives. The knowledge that comes with spiritual maturity gives us security, the security that we have tried to achieve in so many different ways. And when we feel safe, we can trust that there is a purpose for the difficulties we face.
